Amplified House is the creative home of husband-and-wife team Amelia Ryan and Zac Tyler - collaborators in life, business and bold artistic ideas
After more than a decade creating, touring and producing work independently across Australia and beyond, the pair launched Amplified House to house their growing stable of shows, and to collaboratively develop new work ranging from intimate cabaret productions to large-scale concert events.
Known for creating work that is both artistically rich and deeply audience-focused, Amelia and Zac champion original Australian performance that is entertaining, evocative and rooted in genuine human connection.
Based in Adelaide, South Australia, their house is - quite literally - amplified by two small children, one noisy cocker spaniel, and a never-ending playlist of ideas.
About Amelia
Writer, performer, mentor and creative director, Amelia has spent over a decade creating and touring original cabaret and music theatre works across Australia and internationally. She brings a high-volume, detail-driven and instinctive approach to concept generation and storytelling - shaping tone, voice and audience connection across Amplified House productions.
She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of artists, running workshops and coaching programs in the interest of getting excellent work out into the world.
About Zac
Creative director and producer, Zac . For Amplified House he spearheads concept development, budget modeling and show-making. He brings clarity, rigour and a calm creative lens to the work, with a particular strength in shaping ideas and turning them into sustainable, tour-ready productions. He genuinely enjoys budgets and systems just as much as creative collaboration.
