About Zac Tyler
Zac is a multifaceted creative with extensive experience as a performer, producer, director and curator. He has garnered a strong reputation in the industry as a collaborative leader through his work on festivals, theatrical touring, concert performance and venue creation.
Through various roles and productions, Zac has worked with South Australia’s major arts organisations including Adelaide Festival Centre (Adelaide Cabaret Festival & OzAsia), Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, State Opera South Australia, Arts South Australia and Adelaide Fringe. Zac currently runs independent arts production company, Amplified House with his wife Amelia Ryan.
Select creative highlights include Co-Festival Director - Barossa Contemporary, Director & Producer – 27 Club and Twenty Sixteen, Curator - Seasonal Sessions, Curator - The Queens: Fringe at Its Finest, Director - The Weill File (hosted by Robyn Archer), Director – Songs of Love & Revolution, Director – 2018 Adelaide Cabaret Festival Variety Gala, Director – Silver Rain: Illuminated Opera, Director & Producer – Made in Adelaide Edinburgh Showcases (2016 & 2017), Director & Producer – The Studio: 54 Reasons to Party with Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Creative Director - Hopgood Theatre Grand Reopening and Disco Wonderland with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, West Australian & Queensland Symphony Orchestras. A particular highlight was Directing & Producing the inaugural Walk of Fame Gala held in Festival Theatre in January 2018, that featured some of Australia’s most revered performing artists.
